Data Collection:
The only data this app collects is the information you intentionally input about your conversations. This includes details like date, location, name(s) of the people you spoke with, and a summary of the discussion. No audio or video is recorded.
Privacy and Data Use:
The data you input is used to provide you with a log of your conversations. All data is encrypted in transmission, and stored securely on our servers and is only accessible by you unless you link a church or organization with which to share data. We do not share your data with any third parties outside of your linked church or organization. Any personal contact information you choose to share with your church or organization will be subject to their privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any linked, third party accounts.
Deleting Data:
You can delete your logged conversations at any time within the app. If you delete your account entirely, all associated data will be erased from our servers.
Data Retention:
We will retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, please contact us at the [email protected] email address.
Internet Connectivity Required:
In order to utilize the Gospel Conversations app, an internet connection is required at the time of downloading the app and for continued use. The app transmits your logged conversations securely to the cloud for storage and keeps no persistent local copy. Without an internet connection available, you will not be able to access or make entries within the Gospel Conversations app, as all data is handled directly on our secure servers. We are not responsible for any failed data transmission or loss of locally stored data if no internet connectivity is present. We require a stable internet connection to properly utilize our services.
Security and Liability:
We take precautions to protect the data you choose to store on our servers, but Gospel Conversations cannot guarantee against unauthorized access or data loss due to technical failures or criminal acts. Use of this app is at your own risk. By opting to utilize Gospel Conversations for logging discussions, you accept responsibility for what is shared. Please do not share ultra-sensitive or confidential information about others without their consent. We are not liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, including loss of profits or data arising from the use or inability to access and use our services or any linked third party accounts.
Changes to Terms:
We may update these terms periodically. If any changes occur that significantly alter data use practices, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to review and consent to the new terms.
